Time Out says

Serving aesthetic decor and brunch with a side of pretty pink cocktails. Your Sunday plans are now made

In need of a new Melbourne brunch spot? Add Major Mitchell to your list.

From the team that bought you Daly St Coffee Roasters, Major Mitchell is a new café located in the former 1950's Glen Huntley post office. No longer recognisable as a post office, the pastel pink interior and pink cocktails are an influencer's dream.

Major Mitchell offers all of your brunch standards; good coffee, smashed avo and zucchini fritters but they also serve cocktails. Brunch just got more fun (if that's even possible). You can order your bircher muesli with a Watermelon Long Island or even an Espresso Martini.

Not just a brunch option, Major Mitchell is planning a series of 'Summer Spritz Sunday' events as well as paella night and Argentinian BBQ nights. Sign us up!

You can sneak a peek at Major Mitchell's menu here. Don't skip over the Pina Colada Pana Cotta Ice Cream.
