Celebrate two of the world's top cities with a program of events spanning art, food and culture

Melbourne, Melbourne, it's a helluva town. And it's got plenty in common with the Big Apple itself, New York. To coincide with the NGV's 2018 Winter Masterpiece exhibition,  MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art, organisations across Melbourne are putting on a host of events combining the two great cities.

The MEL & NYC program is full of events celebrating the intersection between Melbourne and New York. From June to October locals can take part in a program with everything from food, art and culture to politics and business. Highlights of the festival include a New York delicatessen-inspired brunch at Atlas Dining, a live show by Ilana Glazer (of Broad City fame) and a performance by NY indie-pop queen Regina Spektor.
