Explore Melbourne's world famous street art scene guided by the artists themselves

You can't swing a macchiato in Melbourne without hitting some street art. But if you've ever wondered about how so much street art appears in Melbourne, who's creating it, and how, then Melbourne Street Tours is your best port of call.

These street art walking tours are run by actual practising street artists, so you're getting the low down straight from the artist's mouth so to speak. The business overall is managed by Adrian Doyle, who local art nerds might also recall is the founder of Melbourne's Blender Studios.

Melbourne Street Tours runs two tours across Fitzroy and Melbourne's CBD. The Fitzroy tour traverses the streets of Fitzroy and neighbouring Collingwood, finishing up at the Rose St Artists' Market. Currently, these tours are running every Saturday from 11am to 1.30pm starting October 31. The CBD tours (which explore the city's coolest laneway artworks and include a picnic hamper at either Flagstaff Gardens or the State Library) are currently only open for private bookings, also available from October 31.

Keep in mind group tours are currently capped as a health and safety measure. Visit the Melbourne Street Tours website for more info and to book.
