[Sponsored] Melbourne Public is going après-ski this winter

Strap on your snow boots and slide into an alpine-themed takeover at Melbourne Public aptly named Mont Plonk. The venue is pairing up with Ugg Australia for the third year in a row to bring back the cosiest of winter wonderlands, right in the heart of the city.

From June 14 to July 28 the terrace at Melbourne Public will be transformed into a European-style chalet, complete with sheepskin rugs and throws, roaring fire pits and the wonderful smell of pine trees. Walk in, grab a table and let one of the winter-themed cocktails from the bar warm you from the inside.

You can also purchase a group ski pass for tables consisting of four, six, eight or ten people on the weekends during the takeover. For $50 per person, you’ll share a monster of a winter grazing platter – featuring baked Woombye brie with rosemary and black garlic, Donati’s artisan bratwurst sausage, pickles, crackers, almond and pistachio dukkah, and herb bread kebabs.

You’ll also get a table reserved and the choice of two beverages from the drinks list. How does gingerbread eggnog with spiced rum, advocaat and ginger syrup alongside the Orchid Smoke, with Jonnie Walker Red, cider, maple syrup, and a burnt rosemary sound? Adding to the fun is the highlight of the ski pass, the shot ski where you take a shot of Jagermeister or Schnapps off a ski with three of your friends.

As a celebration of the collaboration, Ugg Australia is offering the chance to win a gift pack full of woolly goodness worth over $750 on the first weekend of the event. Just book a group ski pass for the opening weekend (June 14-16) to be in the running.
