Time Out says

The Wheeler Centre is letting its hair down – and raising a glass – with an evening of comedians, journalists and the odd Human Rights commissioner

Who says you need to be informed to have an opinion? In the era of the hot take, the more provocative and ill-researched, the better.

The Wheeler Centre is hosting a night of hot takes from some of Australia's finest comedians – and former Human Rights commissioner Gillian Triggs.

Hosted by James Colley (pictured), the event will give the likes of Zoë Coombs Marr, Dee Fidge, Roj Amedi, Gillian Triggs and Aaron Gocs the chance to vent their spleens and provide bluster, bullshit and – we hope – belly laughs.

It's on at the Toff in Town, as the Wheeler Centre undergoes a spruce up over winter. The Toff will be offering drinks specials and signature cocktails during the Wheeler Centre's residency.

Each speaker promises 'the most shareable content' – and isn't that what the internet is for?
