To kick off six weeks of Oktoberfest libations, Munich Brauhaus are holding an epic launch party to honour the world’s biggest celebration of beer. This weekend, the traditional Bavarian bierhaus will be filled to the brim with toe-tapping tunes, massive Bavarian meals and, of course, the very best brews.
Expect tankard upon tankard of taste, as special Oktoberfest beers are tapped throughout the weekend. Try beers that have been shipped straight out of Munich’s beer tents and the festival’s stellar lineup – Spaten, Hacker-Pschorr, Paulaner, Lowenbrau, Hofbrau and more.
Fill up on a king-sized Bavarian feast while you listen to the live oom-pah bands. Nibble on hot pretzels with mustard and choose from the classic Schweinshaxe (aka Eisbein to those further north or 'pork knuckle'), Munich Brauhaus’s famous one kilo of pure crispy crumbed veal schnitzel or gourmet sausages.
Can't find a babysitter? Bring the kids on Sunday and celebrate with a special children’s entertainer, kinder face painting, Oktoberfest-themed colouring in and free child-size meals all day long.
