Set yourself up under the stars for this free pop-up cinema experience

It’s back! Park Cinema Docklands is popping up for another summer of outdoor movie delight. And did we mention it’s free? Zilch! Nada! Niente!

Put away the wallet, dig out the trusty picnic rug and run, don’t walk down to Buluk Park right in the middle of the picturesque Victoria Harbour on two Fridays and three Saturdays. This year they are screening the Bowie/Jennifer Connelly/Jim Henson goblin extravaganza Labyrinth, Julie Roberts romcom My Best Friend's Wedding and the Bollywood take on Jane Austen Bride and Prejudicewith the remaining two films of the season to be The Never Ending Story and doco Pick of the Litter. There’ll be pre-movie entertainment on offer to enjoy as the sun goes down, then at 8.30pm, it’s showtime.

This year, Park Cinema Docklands has paired up with Saluministi as a food partner, meaning you can purchase #30 antipasto boxes complete with ciabatta, cacciatore salami, buffalo mozzarella, marinated artichokes and more. There’ll also be a dedicated drop-off point for Uber Eats, Deliveroo and others or you can BYO food and drink (alcohol permitted).

Tickets are free but extremely limited, so book yourself a spot soon to make sure you don’t miss out.
