Rock up to the Ascot Lot with your puppy to enjoy some Prosecco and food
Gather all of your dogs and get ready to enjoy some good food and Prosecco at the Ascot Lot on Saturday, February 16. An interesting doggy playdate will be set up with a dedicated Prosecco bar, food trucks for humans and dogs, a pop-up doggy beauty bar and more.
The Lost Dogs Home, an animal rescue shelter, will be bringing along pooches that you can cuddle up with and even adopt. Plus, $5 wine glasses will be available for you to use throughout the day and take home, with the proceeds being donated to the Lost Dogs Home.
To celebrate the launch of their brand-new Prosecco, Scotchman Hill Wines will have a dedicated Prosecco bar serving a range of delicious Prosecco-based cocktails. They will also offer wine tastings from their local, cool-climate, Bellarine Peninsula wines and you even can take a bottle or two home for yourself. A huge selection of craft beers and cider will also be available.
Food trucks such as Dr Sous, Sam’s Woodfired Pizza, Mr Whippy, Taste of Cyprus and more will be there. But maybe more importantly, a food truck for your doggos, the Canine Wellness Kitchen, will be serving up dog-friendly pinot noir and treats.
You can get your dogs a luxury treatment starting with a pamper session at the pop-up beauty bar offering free manicures and blow-waves, then spoiling them with the latest wares from puppy market stalls such as Found and Hound and the House of Boop. You can also sign up for a doggy photo shoot with photographer Erin King.
The event will begin at noon and you can check it more details on Facebook. It is free to attend and, of course, dog-friendly.
