We don't know what we're more excited about here: the fact that the Carlton's new queer party is hosted by Valerie Hex – director of cult cabaret collective Yummy – or that every month, Hex brings a brand new theme to the table. Last month it was RuPaul, and this time, Hex is letting it rain purple with three rounds dedicated to Prince.
On top of that, she's bringing a swag of performers to the stage, including drag artist Agent Cleave. Tunes are by much-loved Melbourne DJ MzRizk, and there'll be prizes for best-dressed (of course!).
