Time Out says

Flipping burgers for a flipping good cause

Raph Rashid, the man behind Beatbox Burgers, Juanita Peaches, Taco Truck and All Day Donuts, is getting behind the grill and flipping burgers for 24 hours, non-stop, to raise money for the Youth Support + Advocacy Service (YSAS).

On Aug 17, Rashid will be holding his Flip-a-thon, where he will quite literally flip burgers until he can flip no more and party with the support of his friends Pat Nourse, Lucy Feagins, Casey Foley, Jimmy Hurston, Matt Skinner and wife Beci Orpin. Music will be provided by both DJs and bands, including DJ Chris Gill and MzRizk, and all the fun will be at Beatbox Kitchen.

The burgers being flipped on the day will include his signature Raph burgers, shroom burgers, cheeseburgers and vege supreme, with all proceeds going towards YSAS. If you're not the burger-eating kind, all profits from drinks sold on the day will also contribute to the cause, but Rashid will also be opening a hotline for donations on the day for those who can't make it to the event. In short, supporting the mental health of youths is very important to Rashid, and the cause should be on your radar, too.
