Under the guise of ginger pride, the rally is really a message about bullying: redheads don't deserve it, just because of their flame locks, and neither does anyone else.
Attendees are asked to register and can participate by way of gold coin donation. The first 100 will receive a free cap, T-shirt and beachball. Festivities include tunes from ginger-led band, the Vanns, Buderim Ginger will be doing free Buderim Ginger sampling and the best ginger-themed team on the day will walk away with $300.
Convene at the boat shed on Boathouse Drive, near Alexandra Gardens at 10.30am and wind your way to Fed Square.
