Opened on July 16, 2012, the Swanston Academic Building (Building 80) is a state-of-the-art educational facility containing innovative lecture theatres, classrooms and specialist spaces.
The building has been designed to a high sustainable standard, having been awarded a Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) five-star Green Star Education Rating and is a key component of RMIT University's "Swanston Street Precinct" transformation.
