Has it really been one whole year since we first learned that our CBD streets (well, one of them) would be taken over by a giant inflatable slide? Apparently so – and you'll need to book tickets fast if you want to get in on the action this time around.
Taking place over two Sundays (December 15th and February 7th), Slide Melbourne is a 400 metre-long slippery lane of joy that you can zoom down for a solid two-hour session. To ride, you'll need to be at least 110cm tall and aged 12 or above. Children can still slide; they just need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a ticket to the session. Tickets are $41 for two hours, which guarantees you at least three to six slides.
