If you're looking to seek refuge from that sweltering Australian sun, head into the heart of the city instead and find the giant slide in the middle of Federation Square. A 75-metre inflatable slide will pop-up this summer in one of the city's busiest hubs, and it will be open to the public from January 4.
Bring the kids for some school holiday fun, or cool off while you're on your lunch break or before heading out for a summer session with friends. Just make sure to bring your bathers and a change of clothes, because you will get wet!
