Walk the streets of Footscray as the suburb lights up with projections

Explore Footscray on foot as the West Projections Festival takes on a blue hue this year. Organisers Wynter Projects has collaborated with Victoria University to light up 22 of Footscray's most recognised facades with projection art by Australian artists including Kit Webster, Skunk Control, and Ego.

The festival aims to get people out and about on the streets of Footscray. Along with the stunning projections, highlights include live music entertainment and performances and a food truck muster. Free guided walking tours will also run throughout the festival, where art admirers will be able to hear directly from the artists whose work are lighting up Footscray's streets and laneways.

Walking tour program:
- Artist operated: Saturday 20 August, 6-7pm
- States of Blue: Friday 26 August, 6-7pm
- A view through children's eyes: Saturday 3 September, 6-7pm
- Alleys and Laneways: Saturday 10 September, 6-7pm
