Whether you’ve already braved Rush Escape Game's nightmare room which is scarier than a horror film or taken on the do-or-die secret agent mission, we’ve got another reason for you to fire up the group chat and discover if you can crack the all-important clues.

This year marks Rush Escape Game’s 12th anniversary, and to celebrate, they’ve introduced a few welcome upgrades. You'll now have more time and flexibility between sessions, plus the option to reschedule for free in case traffic throws a spanner in your plans.

That’s not all. The Melbourne-owned and operated escape room has just introduced CrewNight. Running on weeknights from 4pm, CrewNight is a chance to bring along a team of four to six players and score a discount on all flat room rates. If you use the code CREWNIGHT, each room will drop from $300 to $250 – yep, that’s cheaper per head than a standard weekend sesh. Cheap Tuesdays are also on offer with a $45 deal per player down from $70. How good!

All that’s left is to pick your location – South Yarra, Hawthorn, St Kilda or Chadstone, all conveniently accessible by train – before choosing your adventure. Every room is designed and built in-house with the help of local artists using restored set pieces that feel all too real. And if things get a little intense, you're free to step out of the room at any time.

If you’re looking for a fun thrill or a break from real life (which is scary enough right now!), Rush Escape Game makes for a great weeknight outing. Better still, some of your dollars might even go towards the thousands donated to local charities and community groups, including the RSL, Rotary and student organisations like the Vietnamese Students’ Society at the University of Melbourne.
