Time Out says

This bayside food festival returns to Frankston Pier Promenade for spring

The best part about food trucks can also be their most irritating feature – they move around. That can mean your favourite meal on wheels might be in Footscray one week but in St Kilda the next.

But lucky for us, a huge food truck festival is bringing trucks from all over Melbourne together in one bayside location. Held at Frankston Pier Promenade, the Seaside Street Food Festival allows you to sample some old favourites and try new tastes from across the city.

The line-up this year includes the Kraken Squid, Real OG Burgers, Tubbsy's Woodfired Pizza, the Gozleme Station, Dos Amigos Catering, Billy Van Creamy, Somsom Candy and Senor Churro.

The four-day festival will also include an outdoor cinema and live entertainment, including plenty of family-friendly activities to keep the kids entertained. Head along on Thursday, October 31 for a special Day of the Dead Halloween party with trick or treating, face painting and an outdoor screening of the movie Coco.

Festivities kick off on Thursday, October 31 and run through to Sunday, November 3. General admission into the food festival is $5 with kids under 12 free.
