Time Out says

Oriental Teahouse is bringing back its all-vegan yum cha

We've seen a lot of people claim to do vegan yum cha, but the thing is, the yum cha doesn't actually involve traditional, Cantonese dim sum and sometimes leaves us wanting more. The team at Oriental Teahouse is putting together an entirely vegan (and proper dim sum) menu for Tuesday night service on December 3, from 6pm, utilising Beyond Meat in some of their dumpling and side dishes.

Aside from their existing 18 dishes that are vegan, Oriental Teahouse will be serving a Beyond chilli dumpling which will mimic a wagyu-filled wonton in chilli oil; a 'chicken' wonton with shallot, wood ear mushroom and bamboo in a spring onion dressing; and a beefless shredded 'steak' in a sticky, chilli sauce with green beans.

As with regular yum cha, you will pay per basket, but bookings are encouraged for the 6pm and 8pm seatings to avoid disappointment.
