This upscale bed and breakfast lets you experience small country charm and modern luxury all rolled into one. Part of a heritage-listed property, inside be&be’s studio-style building you’ll find mid-century trappings beside throwback seventies furniture. It’s in a prime location too, right on the top of a hill in Castlemaine. Enjoy your morning cuppa joe in be&be’s picturesque garden that’s lush with succulents, rock beds, bonsais and a crop of hundred-year-old gums.

Every once in a while, you walk into a place and your jaw drops. And if you're really lucky, you feel at home in about ten seconds. I've only just left be&be and already want to go back. Every inch of the place is well thought-out. The vibe is super chilled. The location is perfect. The details are on point. And Nicola is the perfect host – she even booked a spot for us at The Good Table. My partner and I stayed there for four nights as a working retreat, away from the city. I can't wait to do it again. I can't rave about this place enough.
