There are few experiences quite as special as opening your eyes to see a rolling mist lying low and atmospheric over the vine-covered hills as the sun rises over the gorgeous Yarra Valley. That's the view out the window from Meletos, a luxurious property just ten minutes out of Coldstream.
Each of the 23 rooms in the farmhouse is different, with luxurious furnishing and individual pieces of furniture from around the world. All of the rooms have their own ensuites, and they all offer gorgeous views across vines and apple orchards to the Great Divide.
The farmhouse also has a grand open fireplace with comfy couches and throw rugs, the perfect place to curl up with a good book or a pre-dinner wine.
If you stay overnight you can also enjoy complimentary breakfast at the onsite Meletos Café. Lunch and dinner is also available at the café, and you can choose between two or three courses. The menu changes with the seasons and includes things like Jerusalem artichoke with labneh, goat's curd with truffle honey on sourdough, Cape Grim beef short rib, and barramundi with charred leek.
The property is also an events space and is absolutely stunning in all seasons.
