Thanks to a high of 28 C today and a high of 29 C predicted tomorrow, it’s safe to say that Montreal is experiencing another mini-heatwave.

According to Environment Canada, today’s weather will break a heat record for Oct. 4 with the highest temperature recorded 26.7 C on this date in 2005.

How to stretch out summer during an October heatwave? Here are the top 5 coolest things to do.

Get out your Montreal bucket list and put beachesparks and hiking trails and ice cream somewhere at the top. And don't forget to take advantage of Montreal’s many refreshing pools across the city.

Downtown in the heat? Make sure you stop by Time Out Market Montréal for a drink at one of the 6 bars ((wine, beer, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies & sodas).

Don’t forget to try Tunnel Espresso’s iced coffees before hitting the Market's retro arcades.
