What’s the best time to see it in Montreal?

Having started the day with thunderstorms, the Montreal weather forecasted for this evening is clear sky with a moonrise at 7:51 p.m.

If we’re lucky, Saturn may be visible as a bright point to the right of the moon at sunset (7:37 p.m.) in the east-southeastern sky.

When will there be another supermoon?

According to reports, the next celestial event of this nature won't occur until 2037.

What is a blue supermoon?

A blue supermoon is rare celestial event combining the second full moon in a month with the phenomenon of a supermoon (meaning unusually large and bright).

When was the last blue moon?

The last time two full supermoons occured in the same month was in 2018.

Is there any spiritual meaning?

While the gravitational pull of the moon does have an effect on Earth's tides, many people believe that supermoons also hold great spiritual significance, symbolizing change, increased emotional energy, heightened intuition, transformation and new beginnings.
