Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a pajama party in one of NYC’s coolest museums? Well here’s your chance! On October 23 from 4:30–6:30pm, The Metropolitan Museum of Art is hosting "Lights Out at The Met!" It sounds like a can’t-miss event for the entire family.

"Lights Out at The Met!" will offer up live performances by Mil’s Trills and a Halloween-inspired breakfast-for-dinner meal served in the Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing. Interactive art stations will teach attendees how to create a bejeweled and personalized cat amulet, decorate The Met’s beloved informal mascot William the Hippo and more. Tykes are invited to wear their comfiest pajamas or get an early start to the spooky holiday by arriving dressed in their Halloween costume.

Adult tickets cost $70 and children’s tickets cost $55 (and ticket amounts over $30 are tax deductible). For more information, visit metmuseum.org, and then keep the fun going with the best children's museums in NYC and family attractions. Looking for an actual sleepover?
