As you may or may not have heard, Disney recently announced that it will end its distribution deal with Netflix and offer Disney and Pixar films through its own Disney-branded streaming service starting in 2019. This means eventually saying goodbye to favorites like Finding Dory, Moana, Zootopia and various Disney princess movies on Netflix. Well, the bad news isn't over: It turns out that some of our favorite superhero films will be going with them, too.

Last week, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger announced that its Marvel and Star Wars franchises will also stream exclusively through its own streaming service, along with original movies and series. It remains to be seen whether Netflix's family subscriber base will change once Disney's movie streaming service is released.

Enjoy these classic films on Netflix while you can, and remember that Netflix also offers plenty of non-Disney films that are great for families. Check out the best new kids' movies on Netflix in September and the best family movies on Netflix for all ages!
