A wise man once said, "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." With that in mind, we're en route to Pop International Galleries for a peek inside "The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection," a new exhibit debuting on Oct 13.

Roughly 20 years ago, a California art dealer met with Dr. Seuss' wife, Audrey Geisel, and both decided it was time that audiences receive a glimpse of the famed illustrator's unseen works. We adore The Cat in the Hat, we're simultaneously perplexed and enamored with Green Eggs and Ham, but there's so much more to discover. Now, we'll have that chance.

Visitors can make their way to the Bowery venue to check out rare pieces that Dr. Seuss created in his downtime—concept drawings, final line drawings, private paintings and more. All ages will love his quirky creations such as "The Two-Horned Drouberhannis" and the "Goo-Goo-Eyed Tasmanian Wolghast." According to the gallery, these Estate-Authorized limited editions have been reproduced from the original works. Exhibit-goers also have the option to expand their personal art collection, as pieces are available for acquisition.

Regardless of age, fans can't help but fall head over heels for a classic Dr. Seuss tale. Be sure to make your way to the exhibit before it closes on Oct 21 (click here for details).
