Summer in the city is a blast for all New Yorkers, and everyone—including dollies—need to plan accordingly.

Fortunately, American Girl Place is working to ensure that all visitors make the most out of the season with a slew of entertaining events. Trust us, these can't-miss, quintessential NYC activities will be a hit amongst the kiddos and their girl pals.

When you have the opportunity to hit your favorite toy store and an iconic New York destination, who can resist? American Girl at Wicked (July 25, 2–6pm, $155 per person), offers the chance for families (yep, that includes dolls) to see a classic Broadway show. Following the performance, attendees will be invited back for dinner at the American Girl Place Café, where they will receive a goody bag to take home...and a bit of time to shop around the store.

But Broadway isn't the only destination American Girl dolls will hit. On July 12 (from 11:45am–5pm for $97 per person), families can take in the spectacular views of the city on a Circle Line Cruise, and a delicious dinner at the Café will follow. Make sure everyone (toys included) wears a fancy outfit for the big occasion!

After all the adventure, don't forget to stop by and meet Luciana—the 2018 Girl of the Year. Get the 4-1-1 on Miss Luciana Vega, an aspiring astronaut, by way of interactive science demonstrations and a fun space-themed craft. While supplies last, kiddies will have the chance to score a free shirt, too! This event is free and open to the public on July 27 at 10am at the store.
