New York City continues to reopen, but it's not always clear what families can and cannot do.

Parents and kids can go to a playground and spend time running around at one of the 50 best in NYC. Families can eat outside and enjoy a meal at one of our favorite outdoor restaurants. But as for a visit to one of the best kids' museums in NYC, that's more complicated.

While some locations have announced opening plans, others will remain closed for the immediate future. Here is our guide to the reopening plans of kids' museums in NYC. Be sure to check back regularly for updates.
