NYC's new interactive experience is a must for dog lovers and their pups

Human's Best Friend is giving the immersive experience a canine touch, and our tails are wagging with excitement over the Sept 15 debut.

The latest interactive pop-up to hit NYC is essentially a dog's-eye view of his world through eight different vibrant rooms. Among them are The Dog House, which will provide a sneak peek into Fido's home, while The Toy Pit is a look at his most coveted possessions. You'll love exploring, and so will your furry BFFs. Typically pets in NYC museums are a no-go, but that rule doesn't apply at the West Village attraction.

Once you're done checking out each room, you'll have to pay a visit to the first-ever live exhibition of the Dogist’s portraits. We love daily photos of NYC's cutest canines, and now they'll be reimagined in a new medium. Count us in!

As playful as the exhibit might be, it represents more than just an opportunity to snap a few photos. "Human’s Best Friend aims to surprise and delight both pets and owners, and also shine a light on the joys of adopting rescues," founders Brian Tovar and Jason Sherwood said in a statement. "Our team is excited to partner with local grassroot pet rescue groups and our goal is to raise awareness, and encourage and facilitate adoptions.”
