If your crew is looking for some pre-historic fun this weekend, you might consider a trip to Connecticut.

"Discover the Dinosaurs: Time Trek, Dragon Edition" has been making its way across the country for several months and will finally stomp into the tristate area with a brief visit to the Connecticut Convention Center on Apr 14 and 15. It's the best time to identify fossils, dig for bones, test your roaring skills and yes, even take a gander at a pile of faux dino poop (ick!). You can reach inside to figure out if the dino who made it was a carnivore or herbivore.

The interactive exhibit allows visitors of all ages to take a step back in time and learn more about these wild creatures that once roamed the earth. "Discover the Dinosaurs" also received an upgrade this year, according to the Hartford Courant, thanks to help from Anne Cubberly and Joey Marsocci. Cubberly creates out-of-this-world puppets and is a visual artist who works on installations, exhibits and other events. Marsocci helped work on the design for the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios and is responsible for "Discover the Dinosaurs'" egg incubator and poop attraction, among others.

What are you waiting for? This is Jurassic Park right in your own backyard (minus the whole running for your life thing). Get tickets here
