Christmas is right around the corner.

You might as well kiss autumn goodbye because NYC is already gearing up for a holly, jolly holiday season. Just take a look at the festivities making their way to Citi Field later this year. The Mets' home turf will host Hello Panda Festival, the largest celebration of its kind in North America, and we're anxiously looking for our ugly Christmas sweaters in anticipation.

From Dec 6–Jan 26, the luminous spectacular will take place seven days per week from 5–10pm, so mark your December—and January—events calendar. Visitors making their way to the stadium have plenty to look forward to: over 100 lantern displays from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, a holiday market, performances, games and more seasonal fun. Attendees can also expect to tap into various cultural traditions, such as Chinese crafts like paper-cutting and dough sculpting. Don't forget venture to the market to taste test foods from around the world, including China, Thailand, Mexico and more. (You'll definitely want to refuel after keeping busy.)

Until the wintery goodness gets underway at the end of the year, be sure to check out our favorite fall activities for kids

Tickets for the Hello Panda Festival are $28, $25 for children and free for those 3 and under. Learn more at hellopandafest.com and snag your tickets online
