When we first heard that a new NYC kids' store—Little Giants Giant Shorties—had a glowing ball pit, we immediately reverted to our younger selves and jumped for joy. It's true: This new shop has a custom ball pit for kids to jump around in while parents do the shopping, which is completely brilliant. Upon further investigation, the company behind the glowing ball pit is actually just as cool as the ball pit itself. Seriously.

Little Giants Giant Shorties is an urban clothing and gear brand inspired by hip-hop, skate and streetwear. It was dreamed up by a husband-and-wife–team that genuinely just wants to "make cool sh*t for your little ones." In the store (and online), you'll find hoodies, tees and other items for infants, kids and tweens that read, "GULLY" and "RESIST"—or even depict Big Bird as Biggie. Could this be any more New York?
