It's safe to say inflatable fun is one of the year's biggest trends.

Between Big Bounce America's 2019 tour and Barnegat Lake's new water park, we are always eager to jump. Now you can add another bounce-worthy event to your list of summer activities for kids: the Insane Inflatable 5K. Consider the attraction an obstacle course, playground and bounce house hybrid. The 3.1 miles of blow-up challenges will keep visitors big and lil' active, so ready a clean pair of socks.

Think you have what it takes to master the 5k? Features such as the Ball Maze, a whopping 70-feet long, lets visitors make their way through a bouncy jungle gym surrounded by inflatable orbs while The Wall—20 feet high and 80 feet long—proves to be a slide-worthy adventure for everyone in your brood. Waverunner might look easy, but the inflatable speed bump obstacle might take a few attempts to master!

Even better? The attraction also caters to youngsters with its Krazy Kids Inflatable Run, perfect for those ages 4–9. (Note that parents must be in attendance.) If The Wall and Waverunner sound a little overwhelming for the tinier members of your crew, there are bouncy alternatives.

While you're mapping out your favorite outdoor activities for kids and making weekend plans, make sure to put this epic adventure on your list! Here's when it'll be near Time Out readers across the country:

  • Chicago: July 20
  • New York's Hudson Valley: July 27

Tickets range from $20–$24 for the Krazy Kids Inflatable Run and general admission starts at $57. Visit the attraction's website for tickets and more information.
