We're in the home stretch, New York. Soon we can stroll the Coney Island Boardwalk—Nathan's at hand, of course—and visit the best kids' amusement parks in town.

Both Luna Park and Deno's Wonder Wheel will kick off the season on April 4, and needless to say, we're ready to hit our go-to rides and check out the 2020 debuts. Fortunately for visitors, plenty of thrills await. Let us introduce you to some of your new favorite things to do in Coney Island

Ropes course

Luna Park's seaside attraction, Sky Chaser, will give thrill-seekers a cool view of the beach as they tackle new heights—literally. All ages and skill levels are invited to try the adventure course's ropes and zip line.

Interactive water ride

No need to hit the waves: Luna Park's new interactive water ride will make a splash. King Neptune will come to life as park-goers interact with motion sensors
and a video screen. Although everyone's behaviors ultimately change the experience, one thing's for sure: No matter who you are, you're going to get wet.

Log flume

A new log flume is making its way to Luna Park, and you'll scream with cheer when you plummet down the final drop at 30 mph. Yep, you're going to get wet on this one, too. (Look for it next to the Thunderbolt.)

Steel coaster

Prepare for quite the experience: A new steel coaster in Luna Park will intertwine with the log flume, so thrill-seekers can get a taste of neighboring rides right from the same spot. This coaster will feature two ADA accessible trains. (Please note: Luna Park is best enjoyed with a ride on the new coaster, as well as the iconic Cyclone.)

Kiddie coaster

Even tiny park-goers are anxious to get in on the action. The tot-friendly Sky Fly Coaster, which will open in Deno's Kiddie Park, is perfect for the little ones in your crew who aren't quite ready for the big leagues just yet.

Be sure to check out other cool things to do this spring, too! We'll see you in Brooklyn. (Don't forget to see how the F train suspensions will affect your commute to the parks.)
