For this week’s cover story, we caught up with NYC postpunk vets Interpol. Now a trio, the outfit is back with its best album in years, El Pintor, and has a lot to say about this ever-changing city. But we think drummer Sam Fogarino sums it up tidily: "It’s still the best fucking city in the world, no matter what phase it’s going through." Hear, hear, dude.
