This one needs no introduction. One of Singapore’s most popular homegrown chocolate and cake shops, Awfully Chocolate is best known for its dark chocolate and cookie collection, and its signature dark chocolate cake that has irresistible layers of luscious, dark chocolate fudge. Keep your eyes peeled for its seasonal or collaboration boxes too – some standouts include a Harry Potter-inspired box complete with the character's wands wrought beautifully in pure chocolate.

Luxury handcrafted bonbons with unexpected fillings and flavours, brought to you by fun-loving people truly passionate about all things chocolate. Mr Bucket Chocolaterie's new Dempsey factory has Singapore’s first-ever build-your-own chocolate slab station, an indoor and outdoor dining experience, and a new chocolate dispensary where you can buy your favourite chocolate treats sustainably. If you're shopping online, we recommend building your own box of six or twelve chocolate bon bons – you can't go wrong with flavours like rum and raisin, sea salt caramel, and negroni classic.

Delicious, dark, pure. The emphasis at Embrace Chocolate, a boutique bean-to-bar chocolate shop on Joo Chiat Road, is on creating vegan and gluten-free, single-origin dark chocolate bars with no added artificial flavours or preservatives. The assorted varieties of their signature dark chocolate bars are sold individually so customers can pick and choose the chocolate they like – and there’s always a special edition on offer (think fruit and nut, candied orange or mocha).
