Whatever your tastes and quirks, there is something to stimulate everyone’s desires in Singapore. You don’t even have to go to the red light district for some after-dark, naughty fun. The city has some of the sexiest bars and hotels that exude sex appeal without being seedy. And a little imagination helps too. Whether you're looking to get intimate at a bar, turn up the heat at a beach club, or titillate your kinky side in a hotel room (we won’t judge), we’ve got just the place to turn you on.

Fashioned after the mysterious and ramshackle alleyways of Tokyo, Shinjuku's infamous Golden Gai, Here Kitty Kitty has just the right dose of sex appeal and intimacy for a steamy Valentine's Day date. Seat yourself at the distinctive main bar under falling autumn leaves – but we're sure that you'll prefer curling yourselves away in one of three concept rooms for a more private powwow. There's the plush Cathouse, the sexy Mamasan lounge, and the naughty Shibari room. Accompanying your tête-à-tête? Japanese hip hop and trip hop, delectable bar bites, and Japanese-inspired drinks by acclaimed mixologist Alistair Tan.

Nothing's sexier than a Bond girl, so you can expect the same allure from Duxton Reserve, designed by the former Bond girl and British interior designer Anouska Hempel. Clad in black and gold, this boutique hotel drips in old-world glamour and East-meets-West aesthetics – just check out the ornate French windows, Chinoiserie fixtures and calligraphy wallpaper. The hotel's 49 guest rooms and suites lean minimalist, but for an opulent stay, consider the Skylight Executive Club Suite. The mood-lit interior features a spacious living area, low-slung furniture, and decorative frames. Anchoring the room is a grand four-poster bed fitted with an organic mattress, pillows, and buttery cotton linen. Don't miss Anouska's Bar, where you'll find top-shelf spirits, premium wines, local craft beers, artisanal Chinese teas and cocktails that merge contemporary recipes with nostalgic Eastern influences

Due to its laid-back chill and all-around good vibes, this seaside paradise is a prime tanning spot for beach bums to show off their beach bods in skin-tight swimwear, bikinis, and shorts. It’s decked with plush daybeds and a pool by the sunkissed Tanjong Beach, and serves coastal cuisines and cocktails from around the world for a tropical wind down.

Prior to the circuit breaker, the beach club turned the heat up with jamborees like the Smack My Beach Up and Barefoot Tiki Nights series, where things got – dare we say – wet. It also transformed into a nightlife playground where you can relish a beach boogie under the stars to Balearic house and sunshine soul music.

The cinema wouldn’t be your first choice for sexy but sex runs through cinema like an electric charge. The Projector’s predecessor was once known for screening erotic films and soft porn. While it still retains the charm of its predecessor, it has added more modern furnishings, cool artefacts, and specially curated programmes including cult classics, indie titles, arthouse flicks, and R21 films with some of the lustiest sex scenes. Plus, a dark cinema calls for a snog, anyway.

Priding itself as the biggest nightclub in Singapore, the indoor adult playground is decked with a slick sound system and a 20-metre-high, 8K-resolution LED screen that frames the DJ booth with stunning visuals. Its pride and joy, however, is the giant indoor, eight-armed Ferris wheel that offers revellers an unparalleled view of the nightclub. Complete your rounds with kisses from your boo and capture those magical moments at the photobooth fitted in each pod before making your way down the three-storey slides.

Inspired by the back alley clubs of New York in the 60's, Lulu's Lounge is the darling of Singapore’s impeccably dressed it-crowd, seducing them night after night with its sexy yet quirky interiors on Raffles Boulevard. It’s decked with peekaboo curtains, ritzy chandeliers, saucy wall art, and other kitschy memorabilia like jukeboxes. Drinks are also served with a lipstick-stained (not real) napkin.

Prior to the circuit breaker, it was the place to be for entertainment that ranges from drag shows and burlesque dancers – if you fancy a bit of nipple with your tipple – to live jazz and acoustic sets under starlight. Whether you’re throwing shapes on the dance floor or knocking back cocktails on the outdoor terrace with new friends, you’re guaranteed an animated nightlife experience.

Let's talk about sex, baby
