There's a pop-up burger bar in the CBD paying tribute to In-N-Out

If you didn't quite manage to catch the Hashtag Burgers pop-up at the Lord Gladstone a little while ago, you're about to get a second chance to try their tribute to the In-N-Out burger, the Down-N-Out.
Hashtag Burgers is launching a one month pop-up burger kitchen inside the Sir John Young Hotel in the city next week. Where, we hear you ask? It's the pub facing the Three Wise Monkey's on George Street. Yep, that place.

They've recruited the former head chef from everybody's favourite late night sandwich joint, Mr Crackles, to recreate the flavours of the West Coast's famous burger joint, including adding caramelised onions, special sauce and cheese to your fries if you like them animal-style. And if you don't eat meat there's going to be a vego option too, don't worry. There will be shakes, there will be a secret menu, and there will be Murray's Angry Man pale ale on tap. Looks like your CBD lunch plans are sorted until Wed, July 6.

Tue June 7-Wed July 6. Sir John Young Hotel, 557 George St, Sydney 2000.

These guys aren't the only ones popping up inside an old pub. Check out where Burgers by Josh is opening next.
