This is no laughing matter… The world-famous Just for Laughs comedy festival is bringing the chuckle wagon back to Sydney from November 12-21 with popular comedy shows across the city. Just like the past ten years, the star power is of a particularly high wattage including live tapings, musical acts and exclusive shows from big-name local and international comics. The must-watch acts at Just for Laughs 2023

US comedian, writer and actor, Trevor Wallace is backing up his recent sell-out American tour by heading to Sydney for his Aussie debut. We’re sure tickets will be snapped up fast, considering that the young digital star has a collective fan base of 16 million across his social media channels.

Music, laughs and mayhem collide in the musical gala hosted by the absolutely hilarious viral sensation, Tom Cardy. You can laugh along in tune to a stellar line-up of part-time singers and part-time comedians including US iconic comedian Catherine Cohen, and Australian favourites Cam James and Gillian Cosgriff, with more surprise acts revealed on the night. 

When: Wednesday, November 15, 9.30pm

He’s set to make a debut appearance alongside Timothée Chalamet in Wonka, had a critically acclaimed Netflix special, appeared on David Letterman, enjoyed sold-out runs across all the big comedy festivals, and now the comedian, Phil Wang, is coming to Sydney with his hit new show Wang In There, Baby! Laugh along as he explores race, family, nipples and everything else in between.

The much-loved comedy trio, Sooshi Mango, rose to the comedy ranks thanks to their series of viral online videos. Now, these arena-show sell-out comedians will bring their belly laughs to the Sydney Opera House on November 13. They’ll be joined by their very best (and funny) mates including Aussie actress and TV personality Mary Coustas (Effie), TV star Troy Kinne, and musical comic My Cousin Vlad

Sydney is getting a taste of one of America’s fastest-rising stand-up comics in this hilarious one-off show by Sam Morril. The talented comic will land on the Enmore Theatre stage, following his heroic appearances on late-night shows with Stephen Colbert, James Corden and Conan O’Brien, and stints on the Last Comic Standing and America’s Got Talent. The Class Act Tour will likely sell out, so secure your tickets soon.

More than 30 of the world’s top comedians will come together for six hilarious instalments of Just For Laughs Australia. It’s your chance to go behind the scenes of filming, with all live shows set to broadcast on Network 10 later this year. Who knows? You may end up as an on-screen star yourself. Each show features a new line-up including top talents like Geraldine Hickey, Zoe Coombs-Marr, Nazeem Hussain, He Huang, Becky Lucas and more surprise guests. Sydney, you haven’t experienced a decidedly horny cabaret-style musical like this before. Star of Netflix’s The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous, Catherine Cohen, will bring her sharp and glamorous show to the Factory Theatre for one night only on November 13. Come For Me won Cohen the crown of Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2019 and with a few years of practice under her belt, there’s no doubt that her comedy prowess has only gotten better.

UK stand-up comedian, Russell Kane, is returning to the land Down Under for two exclusive shows at Just for Laughs. He is sure to make you giggle and smile with his trademark puppyish energy and quirky observations, but we'd suggest getting your tickets ASAP.
