Situated just off Queen Street in the leafy heart of Woolahra, this intimate salon is a truly divine space to spend a few hours, with exceptional hair cuts and colours a very welcome bonus. Candles burn and fill the space with a beautiful woody scent, there’s rosé on tap, and when the sun is shining, you can sit outside in the plant-filled atrium while the colour does its work on your locks. Although the space alone would be reason enough to visit Willomina, it’s the team and sense of community that sets this salon apart. “We want people to feel comfortable and cared for when they’re here,” salon manager Bridgitte tells me. And it’s true – there’s nothing intimidating about Willomina, and you can guarantee you’re in excellent hands. The team of seven stylists are all super talented and super friendly, so you’ll leave feeling like you’ve made a friend and gained a gorgeous new look.
