The Rocks – Sydney’s historic waterside precinct – is known for being steeped in convict settlement history. And that storied path has laid the way for some of the most iconic watering holes the city has to offer, many of which are still standing today. It’s also home to some of Sydney's most beautiful historic buildings, magical cobblestone streets and wow-factor Harbour views. 

Always wished you could enjoy your perfect pub setting while taking in the sites? Your wishes have been granted. The Travelling Tavern is a fun new pub on wheels that promises to take passengers on a tour of The Rocks all while sipping an ice-cold beer.

The Travelling Tavern is a 15-seater bike, that invites guests to work for their bevs by pedalling the trolley around The Rocks with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer as well as music to help push you along.

At The Travelling Tavern there are two types of tours on offer depending on where, how and why you’re looking to cycle through town. For those interested in learning more about the area, the History Tours offer passengers the opportunity immerse in the past lore of The Rocks – including stops at Sydney’s oldest pub and other top drinking holes.
