As far as we can tell, Bondi Junction is famous for three things: the enormous Westfield shopping centre, the enormous Event Cinema and the enormous public transport interchange (hence the name). Sure, many wish the train would stop at Bondi Beach instead, but the Junction acts as a gateway to the Eastern Suburbs. Need to get to Bronte, Tamarama or Watsons Bay? You're passing through here.
