Best-selling cookbook author Julia Busuttil Nishimura is coming to Sydney for an incredible evening of good food for a good cause

Talented Melbourne-based cook and best-selling author Julia Busuttil Nishimura is coming to Sydney for a one-night-only dinner that you won’t want to miss.

Nishimura is teaming up with social enterprise Two Good Co and Loam restaurant found on the ground floor of Surry Hills’ swanky Ace Hotel for a special evening of community, connection and excellent food, of course.

Going down on Wednesday, October 25, the dinner is curated by Nishimura herself who will be there on the night. Simple, gorgeous and seasonal produce is at the core of Nishimura’s food, as seen in hit books like A Year of Simple Family Food. Expect delicious dishes like pea, ricotta and anchovy bruschetta; buffalo mozzarella with creme fraiche and lemon; roast herb chicken with buttery croutons; radicchio, fennel and blood orange salad; and for dessert, an espresso flan.

This spring dinner kicks off a series of chef dinner series at Ace in which some of the country’s best cooks will collaborate with Two Good Co to support their mission to empower vulnerable women who have experienced domestic violence and homelessness to get back on their feet.

Tickets for the Loam x Two Good Co Chef Dinner Series with Julia Busuttil Nishimura include a three-course dinner, mostly NSW natural wine and drinks by Balmy Nights, and a donation towards Two Good Co. Tickets cost $150 per person and you can snap them up here.
