Wander around the windy lanes of Rozelle and you will quickly forget that you are in the big smoke. Charming old style pubs and welcoming cafes line the streets, set amongst lovely old terrace houses overlooking the harbour.

Lovers of treasure and bargain hunting can get lost among the stalls at the Rozelle markets (every Saturday and Sunday from 9 til 4) or peruse one of the many vintage stores lining Victoria Street. Sydney’s prettiest educational institution can also be found here, housed in what was once a psychiatric hospital (if you’ve ever been to Laneway Festival you are sure to have found yourself lost in a sea of hipsters at the Sydney College of the Arts).
