Nothing puts you in the spirit of the holiday season quite like Christkindlmarket. The annual holiday market is inspired by similar winter festivals in Germany and takes over Daley Plaza in the Loop, hosting a variety of vendors selling food, handmade gifts, clothing and more. On a typical day, you'll find attendees sipping Glühwein, shopping for presents and enjoying German food like sausages and potato pancakes. Prepare for a day of open-air drinking, eating and shopping with our guide to Christkindlmarket Chicago 2017.
