An Alluring Inheritance of Beauty: Chinese Cheongsam

To promote cheongsam as a timeless fashion classic, Hong Kong Design Institute’s Fashion Archive is holding a special exhibition titled 'An Alluring Inheritance of Beauty: Chinese Cheongsam' from now until December 27, showcasing century-old digital cheongsams from The China National Silk Museum, exquisitely crafted works by local cheongsam master tailor Yan Ka-man, a cheongsam master tailor, as well as pieces by contemporary fashion designers and upcoming student talents. Over 40 historical and contemporary designs are presented in the exhibition, giving the public a chance to learn more about this traditional apparel from its past to the present.
