To those who are familiar with Italian artist Arcangelo Sassolino, they can always expect installations and artworks made with materials concrete, glass, and rubber. As part of Pearl Lam Galleries’ inaugural exhibition at Hong Kong new art hub H Queen’s, Sassolino presents a collection of his installations consisting of industrial materials that calls into question the often destructive qualities of societies, as well as raising doubt about the nature of empathy in our contemporary consciousness.
