Good news, manga fans! As part of Sotheby's Hong Kong's new Contemporary Showcase series, the auction house is set to host the largest manga assemblage ever to be held in Hong Kong. Featuring 60 unique drawings and original Animation Celluloid Pictures (cel-ga), the auction boasts a range of different characters from some of the most popular animation series including Pokemon, Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Totoro.
Apart from the artworks slated for the online auction, an additional 95 pieces will be presented in a selling exhibition at Sotheby’s Hong Kong Gallery, offering a chance for fans to take these unique drawings and cel-ga home.
