Local artist Winnie Davies established Joy Art Club in 2006 as a personal haven. Not only does she use the venue for her own artistic creation, she welcomes budding artists to share her space as a way to encourage artistic dialogue. Among the studio clutter is an impressive collection of paintings that touches upon Hong Kong politics. There’s also her Window series, which imagines a world behind retro-style window frames.
