New Art Est-Ouest Auctions, the first international and oldest Japan-based auction house, is celebrating its first Hong Kong auction after the pandemic with a prestigious art auction, Contemporary & Modern Art in Hong Kong, on May 28 at H Queen’s. They will showcase an impressive art auction featuring the captivating works of renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and a plethora of exceptional pieces from contemporary artists like Andy Warhol and Banksy. This auction will host the largest Yayoi Kusama collection to date, featuring 80 pieces of tableaus, sculptures, bronze works, and prints from her early works in the 1950s to her latest creations in the 2000s. The collection includes Infinity-nets (OQABT), a 556.5cm wide piece currently on display at the M+ Museum in Hong Kong. A special preview of the collection will be available on May 24 to 27 from 11 am to 7 pm for those who would like to take a sneak peek.
