View the expressive works of French-Colombian artist Pablo Posada Pernikoff and French artist Vincent Cazeneuve in this duo-exhibition. Both artists explore how changes in material forms affect ideas and emotions. To Pernikoff, form and material changes the meaning and significance of artwork. Within glasswork, lines intersect or diverge in the light and shadow in which he finds beauty and harmony. To Cazeneuve, his lacquer works are collages of carefully chosen materials. When these materials are set, they lose some parts of their identity, caught between the familiar and unfamiliar. Rather than the ornamental or the eye-catching, he seeks a layered narrative in his work.
